Modern Poultry’s new ‘Abstracts & Posters’ section highlights industry research

A new editorial section on Modern Poultry featuring research presented by presented by industry scientists at major poultry conferences is now available to readers at Abstracts & Posters.

“While the information in Abstracts & Posters is already available in the valuable proceedings published by the conference, it’s often buried in a text-heavy PDF with hundreds of pages,” explains Carly Feeks, publisher.

“When featured on Modern Poultry, it’s more visible, searchable and accessible to the poultry industry.”

Easier to digest

Modern Poultry has also reformatted the original content to make it easier to read and digest.

In addition, each abstract and poster has its own page and is displayed in a colorful, engaging editorial environment. Modern Poultry also provides readers a link for more information.

To support the new editorial section, Modern Poultry will feature the scientific content in its new Abstracts & Posters newsletter, which will debut in October. The information will also be posted to Modern Poultry’s robust LinkedIn platform, which has nearly 10,000 followers.

It’s important to note that Modern Poultry is still primarily a news website, not a scientific journal,” Feeks says.  “We also remain focused on live production.

“The new Abstracts & Posters editorial section is simply another way for industry to share its research, innovations, expertise and ideas with decision-makers in live production.”
