BinSentry has launched ProSense HD, a new, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, inventory-management platform aimed at commercial poultry operations, feed mills and other grain handlers.
Having recently hit a market-penetration milestone with more than 25,000 poultry and swine feed bins monitored daily, with 1,500 new additional bins being added to its network every month, BinSentry is now bringing its proprietary technology to industrial-scale grain and inventory storage bins.
According to the company, ProSense HD delivers precise, real-time inventory monitoring to help operators know what is in their commercial bins and silos at any moment in time. This inventory monitoring is carried out using high-definition 3D sensors designed to see past dust and debris.
Paired with these 3D sensors is BinSentry’s proprietary, AI-enhanced software, which can provide a wide range of data, management information and insights.
Transparency and accuracy
Operators can use ProSense HD data to identify and manage issues such as inventory theft and shrinkage, demurrage and outages. Grain transport can also be more efficiently scheduled.
“The transparency and accuracy that ProSense HD brings to commercial inventory management is a big step forward when compared to asking employees to climb large bins and drop weighted lines to guess at inventory levels,” says BinSentry chief executive officer, Ben Allen.
Allen points out that once ProSense HD is installed, employees no longer need to climb ladders to manually check inventories, which greatly reduces the risk of serious injuries and fatalities from falls.
ProSense HD is available as a subscription model that includes a lifetime hardware guarantee, data processing, cellular connectivity costs, and continual updates and ongoing feature additions to the software platform.
