The website features non-commercial articles, fact sheets and videos on litter selection, litter assessment, disposal options, drinker management, litter tilling, ventilation and other topics related to managing this key component of commercial poultry production.

“Chicken litter, or bedding, is an essential part of breeding and growing meat chicken,” says one of the site’s developers, Mark Dunlop, principal environmental researcher for the department of agriculture and fisheries, Queensland.
“Here you will find litter resources… including fact sheets, guides, videos and webinar recordings. There are also links to research project summaries and completed project final reports.”
